Dive #4 - Scorpion Caves

We saw many crabs - some absolutely enormous - to the point where one crab was carrying another, but our photo techniques were pretty amateur... Here's one.

Eli flying...
Daniel "El Capitan" Baum - on patrol
One of the few pics that came out - kind of.
OMG! Is that... no it couldn't be... yes, it is! A starfish.

Daniel a la Flipper

Decided to take out my regulator for self-portrait. Not a great idea as one cannot hold ones breath as long as it would seem at 50ft in cold water...
Our intrepid explorers...
Eli's favorite part - the anchor climb/descent

Lunch on board the Peace View from the "sun" deck
Is it really that bright?
Heating up the hands for another voyage into the deep...

Dive #3 - Scorpion Anchorage, Santa Cruz Island

After getting our bearings at the Scorpion Bay Anchorage and resting over a delicious three course meal on-board, we took the plunge to see what we could see about 50ft down along the cliffs and caves of the southern coast of Santa Cruz. Despite some problems equalizing during our descent, Dvo provided some quality coverage of Eli "Squid-A-Lot" Miller investigating the urchins, anenomaes and starfish. Total coverage.
Greetings from the abyss.
Hey Buddy!
