Regarding the Sagrada Familia

With little time before my flight to the Himalayas, I thought I would post these interior shots of la Sagrada Familia. The vision of one man, the work of many. A modern monument to the capacity of faith to bridge the gap between a soul and God. A living, organic vehicle inside of which a perspective of eternity can be gained.
Within this breathing, muscular core, there is time to pause and reflect, and we all become gardners of our faith and Gaudi merely an oracle through which we encounter our own version of the divine.

Post Istanbul / Pre Nepal - Doha Edition

Sitting in the lounge at Doha, reflecting on how many bad decisions a seasoned traveler can make despite him/herself. Qatar Airlines shall never be spoken of again, nor flown. I will not elaborate because at the end of the day, the buck stops here. That being said, I have never experienced a less service oriented or narrow minded staff. May they reap what they sow and realize that discounted rates will not be sufficient to perpetuate business. I will not be back.

Enough on that, as I have had so many wonderful eye opening experiences since my departure from The Bay a few weeks ago. The learning curve has been steep, but much has been revealed through the journey which finds me here.

From Barcelona to Avingon to Paris, Istanbul, and now, passing through Doha on the way to the Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal. Blessed be the way, the force through which we find the flower.
